time of booking are increasing with online
access to GDSs, web and supplier direct fares
and rates.
Maintaining compliance to policy when cheaper
fares/rates may be available to travellers
online is a major concern to travel managers
as they strive for control. Management
information in this environment is
increasingly hard to produce.
Travel policy is more than just booking rules,
and provides guidelines on how to undertake
trips in terms of taxi, trains, food & drink,
daily allowances etc. These are usually
published in a travel policy document and are

The tool promotes the right policy at the time
of booking, and allows the travel manager to
control and direct travellers to use the best
sources for booking.
This has a direct benefit on increasing
compliance to policy and this reducing the
total cost of T&E.
For agents, it allows them to create branded
travel portals for their clients in less than
an hour.
